A SAVOIR

Mechanical or electric razor?

If the beard is large and the hairs have an anarchic implantation, mechanical shaving is preferable: it is more efficient.
If there is no problem with hair, the electric razor is the solution to shave close, fast and well.
Mechanical shaver

Rinse the razor after each use and change the blades every three or four times.
Manual shaver

It's the old-fashioned razor, the barbershop shaver. Its use is reserved to certain amateurs, skillful of their hands.
The blade should be washed and wiped thoroughly after each use.
If you regularly use a mechanical razor, maintain the cut by starting with a few sharpening movements on the thumb fat or better yet, use a sharpening leather. If you haven't used it for a long time, lubricate the blade first.
