Ophumanangels: Litterwalk #7/Clean Planet #2

Now that I'm on the laptop, here's my post! :)

It looks like I put on twenty pounds, because I am wearing five layers of clothing. It's around freezing temperature outside, so I bundled up. I was warm by the time I was done, and I successfully got my litter walk done before the snow came!

This is where I am going to clean today - all the medians down the middle of this street as far as the park. I saw a lot of trash when I was walking home the other day.

I always wondered why I see so many wet wipes when I litter walk, and it finally dawned on me today: I bet they're how homeless folks who don't have access to a shower keep clean. I wish gyms offered their showers for free to our homeless community members. Tons of people are using them anyway and they're professionally cleaned, who's going to care? #24hourshowers ...we need to make that trend or something.

I only found four cigarette butts today, not because I imagine people aren't throwing them on the ground, but because they are probably just covered in fallen leaves, lol. So here's a cigar packet for you!

And here is the random board I found, complete with staples sticking out of it which I tore my bag on, but luckily, I picked up another bag so I didn't re-spill the trash everywhere. Which brings us to the DTube video!

This is approximately the 12th time I have tried to get this video off my phone ...now you know why I don't video my litter walks! The phone thinks the file is too large to upload here, to email to myself, it won't Bluetooth transfer or plug in transfer ...and it was only 40 seconds. I trimmed it to 28 seconds ...still too long. This is 23 seconds. Please work?

WOO - 23 seconds is the magick number, apparently. LOL. OK, now let's make this a proper post.

This is what I picked up, in total.

There was a plastic bag snagged in this tree that I managed to jump up and grab, and I pulled it down by force. I wasn't sure I was going to be able to get it, but I did! Yay! ^_^

Into the trash chute!

Just as I was about to enter my apartment, I saw that this had blown into the little nook right in front of my door! No. No no no no no. I picked that up and put it in the trash chute, too.
