Happy Clean Tuesday
So I know most people get their housework done over the weekend when they are not at work. I however have things to do and a house full of teens on the weekends so it makes it impossible to do so.
Kids are back in school.. They left my house a DISASTER this summer and I felt like 10 mins after I would pick something up it would get messed up again!
I had the energy today to do some serious housework!!
Here is part of my clean livingroom from one angle. Here you can see my 2 China cabinets one in the livingroom and one in the dining room.. Don't mind the xmas decor, lol... I put that up a few years ago and never took it down..
Here is it from another angle. I am not too sure why everything in the back corner looks so small. Maybe it's just how my phone camera decided to take it?
I just want you to know my house is always full of animals and kids!!
And yes there are 2 TVs within the general vicinity look in both photos. We set it up that way so one set of kids can watch tv and the other can play on the PS4 and they aren't fighting over who gets to watch and or do what! Yes... smart thinking...
The kitchen is actually my oldests daughters chore. But.... she really doesn't do it the way it is supposed to be done. So I went in today and fixed a lot of it. Again my phone camera distorted the photo. I mean it does look kind of cool that way!
This photo isn't from today but it was when I originally put my moms / great grandmothers / now mine's China cabinet in. The top shelf is now full. And the are some more things on the table and I had moved the cat to the living room..
I really want to get rid of the carpet here. I really don't like it. I had also bought a new fan for the living room and a crystal light for the dining room 2 years ago that still need to be installed. One day maybe???

I don't have kids, but I still tend to like to clean during the week, too! I do laundry and cooking on the weekends, but trying to fit in cleaning with social time gets tough sometimes. Luckily I have a job where I get random free hours throughout the week, so I can check off one or two things here and there to keep everything tidy. Though I've definitely got some spots I could hit a little harder than weekly maintenance, so perhaps I'll join in next Tuesday. ;)

Weekend is my cleaning time we dont have kids and after work I just dont have the energy to do it weekdays, mind you I was slack this weekend so means bouble duty next weekend

I think I really like this initiative! I'm all in for clean Tuesday and I am usually one of those people that cleans when I have time on a particular day but if I remember I will try to save it for Tuesday because that gives me a whole new thing to post about. Lol but I can't forget about the trees because the old guy will notice if I dropped out. LOL
It's actually a great thought because there are endless ways you can use it and I think that you did an outstanding job on your first post. Now I'm going to have to put my little thinking hat on and figure out what to clean next. I wish I had known about this earlier because I just cleaned my garden really well. Drats!
