As we head into Week 8 of the College Football Regular Season, the top-ranked Clemson Tigers will arguably face its first true test of the year in the #16 ranked NC State Wolfpack.
True-freshman Trevor Lawrence will be leading the #3 ranked Tigers against the undefeated Wolfpack in their first ranked matchup of the year.
It may well prove to be a tough battle for Clemson's secondary as NC State is ranked 6th nationally for Passing Yards (335.4) per Game.
The Tigers are also ranked 6th nationally for Points Allowed (14.5) per Game, so I expect them to take this one away in the end.
Clemson is currently a 17.5 point favorite over NC State heading into Saturday's game with an over/under of 56 points.
The Tigers will host the Wolfpack at home in just a couple of days in "Death Valley" (Memorial Stadium) at 2:30 Central Time.
