I'm a citizen of these united States, and I've never lived in another nation.

That said, I am under the impression that the bullshit of Queen Cleopatra and the idea that Cleopatra was black is built from dumb ideas that come from my home nation.

Namely...ya know... it's not that hard to find a citizen of these united States who thinks that Africa is a country.

Hell, it's even easier to find citizens of these united States who are entirely mystified about why I use that terminology rather than "America" or "the USA."

Africa is a big freaking continent with a long history.

Egypt is to the North of the continent, in case people haven't looked at a map in a while.

Cleopatra was mostly Macedonian.

Again, if you haven't looked at a map in a while, Greece and Egypt are pretty close together.

These united States are also a baby in comparison to these societies. We're fewer than three-hundred years-old. Greek and Egyptian societies predate Jesus. I performed in the Greek play Lysistrata which was written 411 years before the birth of Christ. The book of Exodus was written centuries before the birth of Christ. John Milton's Areopagitica was written more than a century before the Revolution.

We know the history. The reason why this bullshit has run afoul of so many people is that it's characterized itself as truth while appropriating Egyptian history. It's a view of Northern African history that's only held by people in this stupid country.
