Word of Warning to those who live or work in Cleveland...

In a time of huge public outcry against traffic cameras on residential streets issuing tickets by mail to people for speeding, Newburgh Heights, has taken it to a new level. This tiny little town in Ohio of 2000 people happen to have a border that encompasses about a half mile of Interstate 77. I-77 spans 4 states and is one of the biggest routes in and out of the City of Cleveland. Knowing that many thousands of people travel through their tiny half mile stretch of road, Newburgh has decided to set up a camera a ticket people who never have any intention of stopping in their town. They likely don't even have an officer monitoring the traffic or making sure that it is right. They have an out of state company whose only motivation is money and issuing tickets control who gets a ticket. Further, the officer who likely signs the tickets that are to be mailed to those who dare to drive this tiny stretch of their commute is not without his own problems. It is possible that the officer who signs the tickets may be the same former prison guard who was indicted for tampering with records and falsification and dereliction of duty. ![Newburgh Hts I77.PNG] )
