I also believe that The US military burns through 1/3 of the oil use by america. So, just flying around and keeping everyone in ready, we blow through 1/3rd of our oil.
Yep, we should stop paying taxes. And end this needless pollution.
However, this will not effect climate change.
We are at the beginning of an ice-age. And so, there is nothing that we puny specks on this earth can do to change that.
If you are in someplace where it snows, get a wood burning stove and a pile of firewood. Month long ice-storms are coming, and power disruption is inevitable.

Ya, I don't buy into the religion of Climate Change/Global Warming, but I'm working on writing articles that can reach people who hold what I would consider to be "wrong" beliefs, rather than always turning them off from reading what I have to offer. Working on pieces aimed at SJWs, environmentalists, and AntiFa... all groups that I would say are misled in BIG ways, but who are acting from a place of good intentions.
If I can get them to read something from outside of their ideology, by simply not challenging certain things, or by tweaking my language a bit, it's worth a shot :-)

That's precisely it! Find the common concerns and beliefs and work with that. We can argue climate change until kingdom come, but most people are on the same track when it comes to pollution, deforestation and species destruction. Most people are basically good and their intentions are good.

Damn I love this post! One of the joys I have here in Thailand is there is no real expectation to pay tax and few people do it. My accountant asks me: "How much you like to pay?" I honestly don;t know how people manage to stay in the so-called first world anymore. Me?? 16 years ago I took that red pill and renounced my residency (Australia) - I'm officially a resident citizen of nowhere and (consequently) everywhere. I'm eternally grateful that my half-Thai daughter is being raised with no sense of nationalism nor patriotism - she would NEVER pay for the war machine etc because she has learned to THINK and QUESTION. Bless you for throwing down the gauntlet and posting this.

I would be very interested in some more information regarding this. I am living in Luxembourg,Eu but my passport is Icelandic.
When you say you have rejected residency, do you still own a passport?
Only 28 years old and am thinking very hard about how I plan my future, especially there is very little hope of one here in Europe.
Any basic income or salary just suffices to pay your monthly living expenses, it is impossible to build a life, with the amount of taxes one has to pay. Living Costs are insane.
Would greatly appreciate some infos on the topic, especially since you seem to be living what I could only dream of at the moment, stuck in a small bedroom at my parents home at the age of 28 with my partner.
Impossible to afford your own living space, a small shitty house goes for 1 Million Euro, an apartment not much bigger than my bedroom, costs about 1000 euro a month. mimum wage is 1300 euro :P

As for the climate change here in the UK well London we have had the extinction rally blocking of London for two weeks until the fancy dress boys when in all heavy handed. Whilst I applauded them I stand by my views on protesting being an acceptance that those you protest to have control. Therefore in my view actually changing the way you effect the environment is more beneficial.
Secondary to this I can't help but feel this whole protest have been a PR stunt as it have been very well reported but the BBC ! Now in my experience of protesting the BBC and MS propaganda normally have a blackout and down play such things. So this whole things seems a setup, plus the government openly giving police freedom to use their full force! Alarm bells ringing on that one.
Lastly as I have spoken in depth in my podcast is the really problem is the amount of, plastics, pesticides and radiation for fukashima without sorting these first the efforts are pointless! 💯🐒

One of the major augmentations would be to revolutionise the transportation industry with some of the major exporters, namely China and India. Most medium size corporations don't want to become the puppets of major ones. In this current paradigm shift we can make a huge change if we connect to people here on steemit and make these changes ourselves. For others who enjoy that quote I recommend reading some of Voltairine de Cleyre's work on anarchism and government issues. She wrote in the late 1800's early 1900's and her observations are so true to this day it is shocking we in the US haven't had another revolution.

This is impressive, you’ve managed to harness both intersectionality and climate change, two concepts I pretty much loath on their own because of the rampant misuse, and then somehow linked them together but also provided a logical way to address the problem. I say logical, but I do not think it is practical in all cases.
Perhaps the bigger question is: How can we cure an entire population of Stockholm syndrome overnight? The facts alone do not seem to work, yet in what will look like no time at all, the currency will collapse under its own weight, and it will be a moot point. Out of necessity people will have to ask themselves what takes priority, eating on a particular day (sustaining life), or a military empire (that destroys it). As for the masses, when the time comes, the biological imperative for survival will negate the Stockholm syndrome altogether.
Maybe those of us opposed to nonsensical economic schemes like UBI and "free government stuff" should be in favor of these ideas for the purpose of necessitating the collapse or ripping the band-aid off if you will. The only other option is a responsible leadership that moves to legalize ethical currencies based on the intrinsic value of the traded object. I may not be skilled at futurism enough to see which road would be less catastrophic, but America is living between a rock and a hard place, at some point, a leader will be forced to choose, and-or, the decision will be made for U.S. by natural, reality-based market forces.
Regardless of what, or how it goes down, when it does, I expect it to be highly turbulent. I'm starting to think the move towards communistic social structures is to appease the masses for as long as possible. Perhaps it is the tried and true exit plan for the elite class. Everyone goes on the dole while ownership of the defunct bells and whistles are transferred to fall guys, and just before the house of cards collapses, the elite class slide on out looking for a new host country to devour.
