Regarding JP's ridiculous take on climate change:
(1) This chart isn't a reconstruction of global average temperature. It is from a series of ice-cores taken from a particular high-elevation site in Greenland.
(2) This chart stops in the 1880's. You have exactly one guess what ramps up in the 1880's, and it's effect on global climate.
