July 2019, Hottest July ever?

When if ever will the Senator and his ilk ever learn? There are a plethora of individuals around the world who are perfectly capable and in fact, enjoy the challenge of fact-checking the egesta that masquerades as news sound bites from these folks.
Schumer cites the following for his tweet:

Except it wasn’t! In fact, July 2019 barely makes it into the top five of warmest months. According to Roy W. Spencer, Ph.D., “…current official pronouncements of global temperature records come from a fairly limited and error-prone array of thermometers which were never intended to measure global temperature trends. “

Yet, the faux, statist, agenda-driven media outlets hang on every word from Senator Schumer and the minions of global climate change. The reporting fails to complete any rudimentary fact-checking or to take into account any ability to use the skills of critical thinking.

To paraphrase “Journalism 101,” “If someone says it’s raining and someone else says it’s not, it’s not your job to quote them both. Your job is to look out the window and find out which is true.”

Those who at one time or another were members of the esteemed fourth estate have in this day and age, failed a generation of readers and listeners and viewers. We are fortunate to have, due to progress in technology, independent, critical thinking journalists and reporters who have picked up the dropped baton and are continuing to run with it.
