Another shot from our camping trip to Strathcona Provincial Park in July 2016. Just finished giving my bro @jkms a lesson in how to rappel safely using a guide-style belay device similar to a Petzl Reverso. This one was a more locally manufactured product though-- the "Gimli" from Grandwall Equipment.
There's all sorts of ways to have fun on the walls -- and I'm pretty sure this got his heart pounding. Rappelling is always a little freaky for the first time -- but you feel like a SWAT member after a few trips down.
Sick. Repelling can be the more dangerous aspect in rock climbing, but a good rush.
