She's a terrible human being and a dangerous policy maker for reasons that go far beyond her trans antagonism.
She is precisely as trans antagonistic and queer antagonistic as most Utah Republicans.
Call me Ishmael.
The Utah GOP, including and especially Governor Spencer Cox , tried to scapegoat a high profile bigot in order to launder the bigotry of policies that it gleefully and unreservedly enacted. They tried to throw her under the bus in order to say, "that's not what these laws are about."
That is fucking exactly what these laws are about.
Cline claims that she made a mistake with her most recent outrage because she failed to consider it from the perspective of the bullied student. No fucking shit, Natalie. Failure to consider things from the perspective of the bullied trans kids (and also bullied non-trans kids who are suspected by peers and their parents of being trans) explains a lot of your hideous, cruel, sadistic behavior.
I actually believe that she failed to consider it from the perspective of the bullied student here. She failed to consider that precisely because the student in question is not trans. If the student had been trans and every other aspect of the situation had been the same, if it had included all the bullying, even if it had included much, much, much more bullying, she would be proud of herself. The bullying of trans kids is an intended consequence of these policies. The accidental bullying of non trans kids is an unintended consequence that they are absolutely fine living with.
Spencer Cox is a bigot and a coward.
Natalie Cline is more likely to eventually become governor of the state than she is to drop out of politics. And not just because she hates trans people but also because she fucking despises public school teachers.
Millstones.
