Candle Clock:
In, 320 AD Chinese people used the candles to measure time. They marked the numbers or other notations to mention the time. This time clock consists of six candles and each candle is divided into 12 sections. One candle can last for four hours so a single marking reminds 20 minutes. This method of measuring time looks cleaver but keeping safe from the wind blows is a little hard. Also, Germans used this kind of candle clocks but the major difference between these two are the time marking. Unlike Chinese candle clocks, These Germans marked time measurements in mirrors and measured the time by the candle's reflection.
Water Clocks:
The water clock is most familiar in history but forgotten in history. Almost half of the countries in the world used this water clocks. One of the ancient water clock evidence found in Egypt (1417 BC- 1379 BC). Persia, Rome, India, China and Medival Islamic World are some examples for using this clock. Design and principle of these clocks vary in each country. The major layout of these clocks includes a pot consists of water and the pot marked with time measurement details. The most advanced water clock is the Clepsydrae used in Greek culture. Also, early alarm clocks based on this method used in Rome. They Used trumpets to make alarms in water clocks.
Sand Clocks:
People still now using the Sand clocks for the decorative purpose but ancient people used these clocks as a main time measuring source. Early middle age people used this kind of clocks. Similar to the water clocks these are having different kinds of design but the main focus of these clocks is measuring hour so, people called this as an hourglass. Even now in some places in England, Hourclocks sometimes placed in coffins.
Sun Clocks
Sundials are used all over the world. The ancient sundials are used in Babylonia and India. People created the small stick or plate in the centre of the dial and continuously track the shadow of the plate based on the shadow for more than few years created the perfect sundials. The perfect sundial creation needs the perfect observation because the sun doesn't move in the same way for all time. In summer the sun path is much different than other time so they make that in an account and created a sundial that includes the summer correction.
