(IJCH) Is EOS being haunted by the specter of Fishy Coin Launchings and Unfair Token Distributions?

Background: Fishy Coin Launchings or Unfair Token Distributions
Monero was created as a reaction to Bytecoin's premine.
Dash was stigmatized by an instamine, but through years of innovative, community-centric governance policies has since been recognized as a model of governance and readily accepted by the crypto space.
In fact, Cardano has stated that they looked at Dash's governance model when creating their own "Federation Style" governance system.
But the proliferation of EOS forks begs the question:
Is EOS being haunted by the specter of Fishy Coin Launchings or Unfair Token Distributions?

First came the stop-and-go launch, followed by controversy over locked accounts – then more locked accounts, this time on the orders of an "arbitrator" that many in the community hadn't realized existed.
Next came a fake order purporting to be from the arbitrator, the fallout from which led EOS architect Dan Larimer to propose a whole new governance structure or "constitution."
Just one problem: there was and still is no system in place to vote on a constitutional change. Meanwhile the voting scheme that is in place – for choosing the block producers (BPs) who maintain the EOS blockchain much as bitcoin's miners do – has put several BPs that aren't following all the rules of the constitution in charge.
For some EOS community members, it was all too much.
Consequently, EOS forks are burgeoning.
These are the forks of EOS (thus far):
- Telos
- EOS Force
- WAX
- Worbli
Note: By far, among the EOS forks, Telos has gained the most traction.

Forks are a issue in the crypto world. it is like making fake money but without anyone regulating this not sure how to stop it. We want the code in the open so we know it is safe but then it can be copied and put out them but a small team that doesn't really mean to support it

Other than Telos I'm not really into the other projects. They'll be like the the BTC forks that isn't BCH.

I agree.
Who knows? Maybe Block. One's attitude could be true and Telos/EOS becomes similar to the LTC/BTC, symbiotic relationship?
Namaste, my friend.
