What do you like to wear during the summer months? I sometimes find it quite hard to find outfits suitable for the summer time as well as the fact I'm not too keen on wearing shorts! 

While living in Britain, we don't really get much of a summer (even if it was 30 degrees today!!) Over the last few weeks I have been collating some outfits that I think suit the summer season whilst still keeping a fashion edge to it also. 

Here is one of my most worn outfits! I have a simple top that has the small lace up detail, I find this so great to pair with anything from jeans to skirts or shorts. The lace up design brings together the simplest of outfits and I think is personally flattering for all. 

This is another outfit of the day, I chose to pair this high neck khaki top with a pair of ripped jeans. I think the key to this outfit was pulling my hair back as it creates a more classy or even a Kardashian style hairstyle. 

On a slightly cooler day (still in the same position though!) I found this top that has a suede feel to the front of it. My little pup wanted to make an appearance also, so I think she must approve of this outfit! Again I chose to pull my hair back and create a messy pony tail as the high turtle neck-like t-shirt brings the outfit together. 

So sometimes, you want to dress up a little for going out (or staying in) whilst still keeping relatively cool. I found my black skinny jeans from Topshop, complimented this grey crop perfectly. I definitely recommend high waisted jeans with a t shirt this short as you don't want to look too disproportioned. However, you do you girl!! Lastly, I also took a bomber jacket with me on this outing as it was the evening time and just draped over my shoulders just in case. 

Summer often invites many parties and involves my birthday also! Having a pretty dress to pull out is perfect for impressing without having to create a whole outfit. My friend here and I both chose the same dress but in two different colours both from AX Paris. This dress in particular is very flattering as it synchs in at the waist and isn't too short!
