Indian textile industry is one the biggest in the world. It comes second after China in world in textile market. Indian cloth has a great recognition in the international market from the ancient time. But after the arrival of East India company Indian textile industry gets decayed by the britishers.

Indian from being a backward nation to now growing as a world power with having around 200 billion US dollars value of textile industry.
Cloth manufacturing in India is also have a great market. India’s different states manufacture different types of clothes type.
Like Andhra Pradesh, Telangana , Gujarat and Haryana are the top cloth manufacture of India. Andhra Pradesh is the top in the list of cloth manufacturing. Telangana has been also the biggest manufacture of apparel because many big textile manufacturing companies have invested a due capital in Telangana.
Haryana is also one of the biggest textile manufacture in India. In Haryana’s Guru gram, Panipat have the best cloth industries but these towns are facing low capital investment due to huge wage rate.
Gujarat is world famous for the cotton textile market. Ahmedabad is known as biggest cloth manufacture in India. Gujrat have advantages of having good quality of soil needed for producing cotton. Also Maharashtra is also comes in this category.
But above all Punjab’s Ludhiana and Madhya Pradesh’s Indore are biggest wholesale producer of ready made garments in India. Tamil Nadu’s Coimbatore is also known as the Manchester of south in India due to its many textile Mills, which are around 25k.
India have many cloth manufacturing market’s and also have one of the biggest textile industry in the world and also India is going to increase it’s cloth manufacturing sector, because government have also invested in msme sector. Which is going to give a incredible increase in the sector and also in the economy.
