What a day I'm having. Living in a full of chaos with a mix of feelings.
Here are the highlights!

- STEEM price hike over 60% within minutes.
What's happening around me,
- The president's quarters have been invaded by civilians.
- The prime minister already resigned.
- Almost all the people are on the road protesting.
- Sri Lanka might have a new president in the next few hours.
I'm happy I was able to finish the #contestalerts on time because I don't know whether we will have an internet connection later in the evening. Just a while ago power was down. My battery going to last for 01 hours so I might be able to finish this achievement on time.

The platform has been the only silver lining for my life during this darkest period in my country. Practically, I'm so glad I have a wallet that saves digital money because the Sri Lankan economy is in a deep sh*t hole now. I'm sorry I don't have any other words to describe the way that I feel now.
This suppose to be the best time of my life yet I don't have foods to purchase in stores, I don't have the fuel to travel, I don't have medicine if I get sick, I don't know how to give education to my future generation. Had so many plans start of this year but they all seem like a dream now. 20 million people suffer because of some idiotic decisions made by a few politicians.
If you want to see the current status of my country this is just a glimpse of it.
To conclude, I feel joining this platform, being consistent in it, and doing a project such as #contestalert is one of the best decisions I have taken. I feel I will somehow survive this inflation and economic crisis because I adapted and saved some money in cryptocurrencies. Sadly the market is down and I wish that the market will have a bull run soon in the future.
