大家好，香港隨拍又來了。之前介紹了很多香港的地方、歷史和故事，希望大家會喜歡，今次，我介紹的地方卻沒有什麼歷史，什麼故事，卻有美景，絕美的景色。西環泳棚，可能是香港欣賞日落最唯美的地方。

Hi guys! It’s Hong Kong Snapshot again! I had talked about a lot of places of HK, and their history and stories. I wish you enjoy it. Today, the place I introduce doesn’t have any history of story. But it is a beautiful place. The Sai Wan Swimming Shed, is the dream of sunset.

西環泳棚顧名思義位於香港島的西環區，距離鐵路堅尼地城站約20分鐘路程。至於泳棚一名，相信現今的年輕朋友都不知道是什麼了，因為我也不知道是什麼意思，直到翻查資料後才了解何謂泳棚。在幾十年前，香港並沒有很多公眾泳池或開發了的海灘，一般市民想要游泳都自己跑到海邊，慢慢地，一些游泳人士聚集的地點便出現了泳棚。泳棚其實只是用竹搭成的棚屋，為泳客提供更衣室、浴室及儲物櫃等。

Sai Wan Swimming Shed is located in Sai Wan on the HK Island, a 20 mins walk from the train station. In the 1960s, there were no swimming pools and only few beach in Hong Kong. So swimmer just swam at the sea around. Therefore, some little house made by bamboo called “swimming shed” was built along the coast to provide changing rooms, shower rooms, and lockers for swimming.

早年香港有很多泳棚，但隨著政府開始發展泳池及海灘，令到泳棚逐漸被拆卸而式微，直到今日，全港就只剩下這個西環泳棚。不過，今天還會到西環泳棚游泳的人已經很少，但西環泳棚絕美的景色，加上面向西方，成為了拍攝日落的好地方，逐漸成為情侶和攝影愛好者的勝地，更有不少新人更會到這裡拍攝婚紗照。今天，我就參加了一個攝影團，來到這個絕美勝地。

Since the HK government started to develop swimming pools and beaches, swimming sheds started to be dis mantled. And Sai Wan Swimming Shed in the only one left in HK now. But, there are seldom swimmer in the swimming shed already. Replacing the swimmers, more and more photographers and couples come to the swimming shed. Also many couples take their wedding photos at this place just because of its beautiful view of sunset. Today, I joined a photography club and arrived this place.

我們依山而上，走到泳棚的入口，再沿著樓梯依山而下，途中已經汗流浹背。由於我並沒有去過泳棚，前路還有多久完全是未知之數。正當我開始後悔參加時，卻見樹林中隱現絲絲閃光，是大海！我禁不住快步急行，一片無際大海盡現眼前，突然渾身勞累頓現消失！

We went up the hill to the entrance of the swimming shed and went down again to the seaside. I sweated and wanted to give up. At this moment, I saw something shining through the trees. It’s the sea! I started to walk fast and finally, I saw the great sea.

到達西環泳棚，最吸引我注意的，是一條延申至大海中的木橋，遙望對望，一個小燈塔在閃著亮燈，為航行船隻指路帶引。泳棚位置不多，如想佔據有利位置，一定要預早到來，這次我們來得晚了，很多好地方已被佔去，我們只有沿海岸一路而走，走到海岸的另一邊。沿路的大石高低起伏，更有不少大樹，恰好為我們提供大量的素材，以不同的構圖和角度，盡情紀錄這裡的美景。

Arriving the swimming shed, it’s the long wooden bridge to the sea attracting me. Then I saw a lighthouse at a small island. There were no many spaces in the shed. And this time we were little late, most of the good places were occupied. We went along the seaside and went to another area.

距日落還有一小時，我們開始到處拍照，而我，則走到泳棚最東端的石灘，架設攝像機，準備攝錄日落的動人情景。看著醉人日落，耳聽陣陣海浪，我不期然拿出電話，把它關掉，靜靜享受動人時刻。可惜，差不多日落的時候，一朵大雲悄悄而至，遮擋了太陽，成為了這次行程美中不足的地方。

We started to take photo and I set my camera trying to record the sunset. Looking at the sunset and listening to the seashore, I took my phone out and switched it off. It was a great enjoyment. Unfortunately, suddenly a big cloud appeared and blocked the sun. A fly in the ointment.

碰巧這星期的谷哥主題是風景，我一直認為好風景和風心情是相輔相成的，殊不知真正美景到來，任你心情如何的壞，也會被這美景吸引。同時，我向來認為文字是人類最好的表達媒介，但面對這樣的景色，我的文字實在不足以表達，大家還是看照片吧！

I couldn’t tell how beautiful the place was by words. So, please enjoy the photo!

相信日落對大部份人來說，都是美景，可是人們偏愛到處出去，尋找新的美景，卻忘了每天都在我們身邊的日落美景。好風景，一直在我們身邊。

I believe sunset is a beautiful view for most of us. But we always like to travel and discover new view, and forget the beautiful sunset happening everyday around us. The best view, is already around us.
