My Work(6) – My new edited dance video 20 mins, with Japan classic anime songs! 童年回憶！我最新剪輯的舞蹈視頻出爐了！以日本經典動漫歌曲為主題的20分鐘精彩舞蹈！

各位，還記得我在之前的帖子說過的香港動漫節 HK Dance Power Competition 嗎？這個大型舞蹈比賽是我每一年其中一個最花心血、最大型的活動。今天我在整理7月的報銷單據時，見到很多張清晨五六點的計程車單據，看來，我在7月看了不少日出啊。
Hi guys! DO you still remember my articles about the HKACG HK Dance Power Competition? This is one of the largest event I host every year! When I was tidying my claim form today, I found many receipt of taxi with the time 5-6am. Oh! Seems I had seen sunrise for so many days in July.

這次，我主要想說說我們在這次活動的表演部份，作為一個舞蹈比賽的主辦單位，我們自然需要準備一個精彩的舞蹈演出。這一次，我們需要準備一段20分鐘的舞蹈演出，大家不要看音樂劇閒來都一個小時，其實對於表演舞蹈來說，20分鐘是一個超級長超級長的演出！我們一般都是以3分鐘作為一段演出的，你想想，如果你在街上遇到一段舞蹈演出，如果演出不是精彩，你願意逗留20分鐘去看嗎？
I want to talk more about our dance performance in the event. As the main organizer of the dance competition, of course we need to show audiences a wonderful dance performance! This time, we have to prepare a dance performance of 20 minutes. Don’t look down on a 20 mins’ performance! Actually, we usually take around 3 minutes as one performance. So a 20 mins performance is a very very long performance! Just think about if, when we see a dance performance in the street, if it is not good, will you stay 20 minutes to finish it?

所以，這次我們壓力都挺大，既要跳得好，還要考慮很多其他的東西，最後，我們選擇了以日本動漫歌曲為題材，因為這次是動漫電玩節的活動，而日本的動漫紅遍全球，完全迎合主題。下一步，就是選曲了，這也是一個難題，第一，日本的經典動漫太多了！我隨便都能數出二三十部，要抽取其中最經典的，又要能跳舞的歌曲，實在很難。其次，就是我是80後，排舞師是70後，我們都太清楚現在20多歲年青人是看什麼動漫長大的！我們只能找一些超經典的動漫，和問問年青朋友們的意見，在此感謝 @carinewhy 提供了不少意見，雖然我們最後沒有採用你提議的歌曲，但都要感謝你！
So we had a great pressure, we need to have a good dance, together with others concern. Finally, we decided to use Japanese animation songs as the topic, because it is an event of ACG! Japanese animation is the most famous among the whole world. It totally fit the topic! The next step is the song selection. It is a difficult problem. There are so much classic Japanese animations! I can tell 20-30 without thinking! We have to choose some classic, as well as good for dancing. Furthermore, 1 was 1980s born and the choreographer was 1970s born. We didn’t know the favorite of the 1990s and 2000s! I consulted the opinions of many youngsters. And special thanks to @carinewhy . You gave us many good suggestion!

下一步，也是最困難的一步，就要排舞了！今次我舞蹈演出，動用了四十多人，由成人到兒童都有，精銳盡出，當中超過一半都曾參與紅館演唱會的舞蹈演出。排練20分鐘的舞蹈需要很長時間，但要同時集合這幾十人更是困難，所以我們只能將排舞時間都安排到晚上九時至十時才開始，這就是我計程車收據的來源了哈哈！
Then, it’s the most difficult part, the choreography part. We have over 40 dancers in the performance, from adults to kids. Half of them even joined the dance performance in concert. 20 mins dance is a very long dance. We need a lot of time to finish the choreography. But it is much more difficult to gather 40 people together! So we can only schedule the rehearsal time to 9pm or 10om. That’s why I got so many receipt of taxi haha.

其他的鎖絮事情，如服裝、化妝等，都已經是小事了，至於排舞的重任，就留給排舞師吧！我還要努力處理比賽的籌備部份！
And the remaining, like costumes, make up, are already a piece of cake comparing with the above.

這次我們選取了十五部動漫，一共十七首歌曲，有留意日本動漫的朋友，你一定懂得其中的大半，也一定會受到感動！他們包括：

以這十數首歌曲編排的舞蹈，當中包含了Hip Hop、Urban、Jazz、Jazz Funk、中國舞等舞種，精彩絕倫！在此實在要感謝四十多位舞蹈員在這一個月來的努力！
The style of the performance include Hip Hop, Urban, Jazz, Jazz Funk and Chinese etc. It’s really a great performance. I have to say thanks to all 40 dancers!

而小弟亦肩負重任，負責視頻的製作工作！整個剪片的過程，共花了我接近二十小時的時間！至於出來的效果好不好，我就不多說了，我只知道，這段時間，我很多的童年回憶都走回來！我也同樣希望，你們能抽個時間，坐下來好好欣賞一下，因為這段視頻是我的心血，也是我們一班舞蹈員的心血，最後，希望你們會喜歡！！
And I am responsible for the last job, to edit the dance video. I spent around 20 hours to finish it. In this period, I recalled so many good memories of my childhood, watching animations. I wish, you may take some time, take a look at the video. This is my effort, and also the effort of 40 dancers. I wish you like it!!
