Macau was hit by typhoon Hato on August 23rd. The small city state is still trying to cope with the aftermath. I've heard stories of people who don't have electricity, or who days after the event are still struggling with having electricity, drinking water and water for sanitation.
Despite the adversities the Macau people are going through, there exists among the people a strong desire to volunteer and help each other out. This is where the happy video comes in.
This video shows me that in times of crises - left to themselves - the people of Macau will spontaneously show their humanitarian side. The solidarity they display is very touching. Please click on the link below to view it:
Unity of people is the most important thing in these cases. I feel very sorry for people who got injured because of the typhoon, it is one of the most dangerous nature disasters.
And it is very touching indeed to see volunteers fighting it and helping other. Stronger people should always help weaker.
