学习画画的日子，正是我最忙的日子刚过去一阵、整件事又没有结束之时。抓起画笔的时候，觉得内心是平和的，注意力全放在下一笔应当用什么颜色、用什么样的笔触上。可以入定一般几个小时不间断地安安静静坐在桌前，不碰手机，也没人打扰。

万事开头难。在逐步认识水彩、和画笔和睦相处的过程中，我意识到自己的局限——没有扎实的基本功。这对于学习水彩并不是一只拦路虎，有基本的美术细菌当然进步较快，没有系统的学院派经历也可以根据一本书扎扎实实文火慢炖，揣摩得多了，总会画出自己满意的样子。

另一个局限是创造力的不足，当我沉浸在模仿中，我亦步亦趋地依葫芦画瓢，其实是没有真正思考。光影的位置、线条的间距、透明感的把握、远景的处理、颜色的搭配……当自己开始照片写生的时候才发觉，原来我还是不会。这不是否定模仿，模仿是创造的必经之路——而是觉得单纯的模仿并不能带来质的变化。当学习了一种画法，就应该在别处进行实践。假如山竹变成杨桃，能否依旧表现出它的光泽和质感？假如玫瑰变成牡丹，能否画出其花瓣的纵深感？

The position of light and shadow, the distance between the lines, the grasp of the transparency, the processing of the vision, the collocation of the color... When I started the picture, I realized that I could not. This is not a negation of imitation, and imitation is the only way to create - but it feels that simple imitation does not bring about qualitative changes. When a painting is learned, practice should be carried out elsewhere. If the mangosteen become carambola, can still show its luster and texture? If a rose becomes a peony, can you draw a deep sense of its petals?

即将离开第二故乡，想用最后的时间和这座城市好好地相处一下。冬天在外写生太冷了，照片写生也是个好方法。绘画虽然不是经济来源（相反，还很烧钱），却并不是没用的。明信片画幅可以邮寄给亲朋好友，32开、16开可以裱在相框里放在案头，或挂在墙上，假装一件私人收藏。
