大年三十是每家每户团圆的日子，年夜饭是必不可必的， 一年到头只有这一次，意义非常的重大。老一辈的也好，晚一辈的也好，都非常重视。不管在多远的地方工作，多会回来吃一顿团圆饭。
在我们老家（湖南）大年三十不管家里人多人少基本都是10个菜，寓意十全十美，今年另外了，因为家婆都是准备9个菜，说是希望一家人在一起长长久久。
这道菜算是我家乡的特色菜了，新市原子，其实是用豆腐和肉做的，把肉塞进豆腐里面，然后外面裹上面粉之后放进油锅里，小火慢炸，外脆里嫩，特别的好吃。
这是过年的常菜，因为每年都有，每家每户都有，蒸肉
自家种的白菜，纯绿色食品，吃起来比外面买的要甜
这是逢年必备的菜，也是每家每户都有的菜，白萝卜汤。每年28、29的时候家家户户都会开始炖，柴火炖的，里面会放大骨头、肉、一整只鸡，炖到一定的火候除了骨头其他的食材会捞出来。这个汤格外的甜，每年这碗菜都是是最受欢迎的。
