Some very old roses are planted in my front yard. Year after year they open very beautifully roses. Before pandemic, I was so busy going to work every workday, and I also needed to take care of my young kids. I felt no time to enjoy anything.
We started working home every day from pandemic, and even hardly went to anywhere. One day I stepped outside and saw all the beautiful roses blooming. I couldn’t believe in my eyes how beautiful they were all these years, especially the first opening flowers. They were so big!
After that, I trimmed them in Winter, gave them fertilizer in early spring, and watered them more often. After a first wave of roses dried up, I cut them down. A new branches were grown out. But the roses were no longer as good as the first waves of flowers.
This year I gave them some fertilizer after I cut down the dead flowers. I also tried to watered them even there’s an automatic sprinkler. The flowers are beautiful!
