I have some scotch tape. If tense I can turn it into a linear polarizer. Is not L-glucose but does the job.

Seriously? Scotch tape works? Thats interesting, i am going to try with that!
I previously tried with polyvinyl alcohol glue with iodine(the raw way of making polarizer) but the effect was not that obvious

Yeah, I made a Dermatoscope for my cell phone. Put the stretched scotch tape over the flash, then used a couple of old 3D glasses for the circular polarizer over the lens and BAM! The vascular patterns of the skin, for less than $1.

Dermatoscopes go for as high as $1000 as medical equipment.

This is interesting!!! I will see if i can make a polarizer with scotch tape ;)
Btw scotch tape now sounds so special to me XDD it can even generate x ray under vacuum when you peal it(and the result was published in Nature)

I know! example: Pencil and Scotch tape. Later some electron microscope. You find Graphene flakes. BAM! Nobel prize.

oh yes!!! the graphene as well XDDD
Scotch tape is really crazy XDDDD

If increase the volume, will it sync the mon's brightness finally or polarize effect will stop changing after certain among of volume ?

This is a nice question!!!!
In fact, it is possible to have a certain volume which makes the polarized light rotate 360 degree (which you will not see any optical rotation effect). But if you further increase the volume, it will further rotate XDDD
like getting 370 degree optical rotation (which is 10 degree rotation in reality)

:D I wonder besides glucose + syrup, will there any solution I can try (play with), haha. And there are many interesting way to play with, but I don't have tools, cry cry xDD

The major difficulty is you need "alot" of that stuff to get the effect obvious (recall I use syrup, which is saturated glucose solution here).
But it would be interesting enough to put some crystal (just any crystal, table salt, glucose, blah blah blah XD) on a computer screen and look at them through a polarizer or sun glasses.
;)

omg!! It could be an ultimate secret camera phone filter!!! xDDD

@mcw Steemit is gonna change lots of lifes, it has changed mine and many others but that is just the beginning. Followed

Thanks! Hope you enjoy the science here ~

Great post @mcw thanks so much

Thanks !!
Enjoy :))
I think you can also try to work on the experiments, that you describe in your post, do it by your own. This may make your post unique :D

Thanks @mcw i ll try it like you done...thanks for your support...

你太牛逼了!赞

哈哈,多謝支持啊 :D

holy chirality !!

haha ~ Hope you enjoy all the fun with it :)
