Thanks for the post.
"determination of biomolecules in solution" The main focus was in bio-molecules. So molecules and solution goes with chemistry. the secondary focus was developing a Cry-electronic microscope and that part is physical , may go with Electronics / physics.

Thanks! Personally I think it is more appropriate to put it in the category of chemistry than physiology or medicine.
But it is somehow boarder line to put it in physics or chemistry.
It is so true that study of bio-molecules in solution is really important and challenging, especially for those proteins could not be easily grown in to crystal!

love for the S. aureus and phage!!!
Visualization always send a stronger message, to see is to believe!!

YESSSSSS!!!! I love fluorescent microscopy so much !!!
hopefully live cell imaging could be as advance as EM soon XDD

Thanks for this post. I am many information on this post. Please follow and votes me @josna

That virus is almost surreal! An arachnid-like base with a spiky tower rising from the body. I have new respect for them now.

Haha, this is a really classic EM image of virus. All the genetic materials in the virus is basically kept in the "tower"!!!
btw I thought people would get afraid from virus instead XDD

Interesting there is no Biology Nobel prize. However, chemistry is the basis of both biology and physics.

I would describe as a bridge instead ~

That too, I guess. I was thinking though, that chemicals came first - Hydrogen and its friends - and physics is an explanation of what happens when those chemicals act or react. Meanwhile, biology is about what happens when carbon or silicon form life? :-D

Physics is more like how the elements are originated. Nowadays, computational chemistry make use a lot of quantum calculations which is based on quantum physics.
Like the microscope development, i know that quite a number of astrophysics eventually get in to working in microscope development as they are actually highly correlated.
Some how, physics-chemistry-biology could be seen as a whole unit to me ~

Good job..

Thanks! Enjoy :))

Semoga sukses selalu.

Nice news...but who is will get noble next year...??? Can we predict it??
