James Kottak der Ex-Drummer von der Hard Rock und Heavy Metal Band SCORPIONS ist am 09. Januar 2024 im Alter von 61 Jahren aus dem Leben geschieden.
Aufgrund einer Erkankung hat der Drummer schon 2016 die Band verlassen.

  James Kottak, the ex-drummer of the hard rock and heavy metal band SCORPIONS, passed away on January 9, 2024 at the age of 61.
  The drummer had already left the band in 2016 due to an illness.

In der Zeit mit James Kottak bis zum Jahre 2016 war das Drumsolo „Kottak Attack“ ein fester Bestandteil von SCORPIONS Live Auftritten.
