Die Band TANKARD ist eine deutsche Thrash-Metal-Band aus Frankfurt und wurde 1982 gegründet.
Sie spielen laut eigener scherzhafter Aussage auch Alcoholic Metal und sind die einzige Band ihres Genres.
Bier ist der Hauptbestandteil der Band.
