Visiting the Elysée Palace 参观法国总统府

Hello everyone, we are Nan and Eating, two students from Shanghai who study in Paris now. We are new in Steemit and we love travelling in Europe. Here, we want to share our voyage experiences with you and to explore these excellent ideas. If we are lucky, maybe we could earn some coffee money here (coffee is the life in France :D

In our first article, we want to show you our unique visit to the Elysée Palace. Hope you like it!

我们的第一篇文章里，希望给大家展现在法国爱丽舍宫珍贵的游览经历，希望你们喜欢 :D

Line up :D 排队

If you want to visit the palace of French president, in general, there are two ways. The first one is by receiving the official invitation card as shown above, the second one is visiting on the “Heritage Days in Europe Countries”. The Elysée palace is open to the public only on the third weekends of September. We are in the second situation. :D It was really a long queue. Maybe you could not imagine that how long it was. We arrived at 7:40 and until 14:30 we finally entered the palace. But we moved only about 1km.

到法国总统府做客，大概有两种方式，一种是收到这样的小卡片邀请函，另一种就是每年的欧洲遗产日(Journées du Patrimoine)仅仅开放一天的参观活动。我们是第二种，排了很长的队，有多久呢？也就从早上7:40到14:30吧！哈哈哈

The garden 总统花园

Everyone must enter the palace by crossing the garden first. Then we saw the back side of the Elysee Palace. During the waiting time, there was the Republican Guard Orchestra playing the music to entertain the visitors. The orchestra has a long history. We could see a stand board to show their work. They are proud to present themselves. The introduction board is quite simple but soldiers were all in high spirits. Their work is as glorious as the president’s. Elysee Palace is also their home!

大家都是从后门进入花园，然后来到爱丽舍宫的背面，在花园里面排队等候进入。在等候入场的过程中，爱丽舍宫的共和国卫队乐团在一旁给游人奏乐助兴，这个乐团也是有着很长时间的历史了。乐队的军士们优雅地站在一旁，随时回答大家的提问。他们骄傲地展示着自己的工作。站台很简陋，一点儿都不浮夸，但是他们的气场却很强，和总统展示自己的工作一样光荣，爱丽舍宫也是他们的家！

First time to see president Macron 第一次见到总统

When we finally entered the building, we found that the crowd behind us were really excited and went back to the center of the garden. It was proven that the president Macron and his wife came out to communicate with the visitors. I have also seen his cute and handsome dog. This was our fist sight on him but in a far distance. He was really nice, shaked hands with the crowed people and took many photos with his fans. (It seemes that there is a fixed time when the president will be appear: this time he came from the gate of the garden at 15h! You can check it the next year :)

在我们刚刚进入建筑的时候，花园里有些轰动，回头一看，原来是园子的主人马克龙和夫人出来和大家交流了，还带着他的爱犬，一条黑色的大狗。这是我们第一次见到总统，可惜没有近距离握个手啥的。总统还是非常亲民的，和旁边参观的人一一握手合影，和服务残疾人的志愿者队伍集体合影，签名自拍，几乎有应必求。（如果没弄错的话，这次总统出来的时间是15点整，从花园走出来的，明年的大家可以考证下这个规律是不是还成立，哈哈哈）

We continued to visit with a little regret because we could not be close to the president(The fact is that the regret has been made up later :D ). The fist room is named “Salon d’argent”. It was built during the period of Napoleon. All furnitures are made of silver or silver plated, which are very elegant. And the next room is a dining room of modern style, designed by Paulin. It is in sharp contrast with other rooms who are in retro design. But it is incredibe that it is really harmonious with this old palace.

带着没近距离看到总统的遗憾我们继续参观（后面得到了大大的弥补），第一个厅是拿破仑时期的“银饰厅”，家具摆设看起来都是镀银或者银制品，十分考究。再往里面走是蓬皮杜总统时期修建的餐厅，由Paulin设计，极具现代感，和后面各厅的摆设形成了鲜明的对比。我们无法想象一个古老的宫殿竟有如此现代的装饰，但倒一点也不违和。

The Napoleon III library is the next important place. President Charles de Gaulle and several presidents, they all have taken official portraits here or published New Year greetings here.

紧接着是拿破仑三世图书室，包括戴高乐将军在内的几任总统曾经在这里拍摄官方肖像或者发表新年贺词。

The following halls have their own characteristics respectively: some have the abstract art paintings and abstract style carpets, others may be decorated with gorgeous door ornaments, small statues, large chandeliers and a variety of oil paintings, murals and tapestry paintings.

随后的几个厅各具特色，有的是壁挂抽象艺术画，脚踩抽象画地毯，更多的是华丽的门饰、小雕像、大吊灯以及各种油画壁画挂毯画。

The office of the president is located on the second floor. The whole room is golden like. I found that these chandeliers are gorgeous and elegant. Also, the room has perfectly made use of the sunshine for room lighting! It will be really enjoyable to work in the office like this!

总统办公室在二层，整个房间金灿灿，吊灯华丽优雅，房间采光超级棒！在这样的房间工作感觉一定很棒吧！另外，我在总统的书桌上看到一本有阴阳八卦封面的书，想来他对中国文化还是蛮感兴趣的！

We got down the stairs and arrived at the first floor. It is a huge exhibition hall in which we could find the gifts from the head of other countries. For example, there are Russian tea sets donned by Putin when he visited France formally in May this year, blankets presented by a prince from middle east country, the precious photos of French astronauts, and also the design drawings of Manhattan Square donned by Trump on the France National Day. A country is just like a family, we need these presents to show our friendship. All these gifts are carefully selected, so it is really interesting to watch them one by one.

从总统办公室下到一楼，是高高大大的展厅，展示了诸如五月份普京来访时赠送的一套俄罗斯茶具，中东王子赠送的毛毯，法国宇航员的珍贵照片，以及特朗普法国国庆节期间来访时带来的曼哈顿广场的设计图纸。一个国家也如同一个家庭，总要有礼物来表达心意，表示友好，这些礼物可都是精挑细选，细细品味也是蛮有意思。

And then we could see the people behinds the glory of Elysee Palace, such as relics repairing group, cooking group (they still use these kitchen utensils that has existed for hundred years), flower arrangement group(with magnificent works!) and dinner service group. Each group has representatives to introduce their work. They are so familiar with their work and are extremely proud.

再往后展示的就是总统府荣誉背后的人们了，有文物修复组，厨师组（这些百年的厨具至今还在使用），插花组（简直美轮美奂）以及晚宴服务组，每组都有代表，骄傲地介绍他们的工作，如数家珍。

Second time to see president Macron 第二次见到总统

Attention! It is right here we saw again the president and his wife and in 2m distance! There is only a table between us and them. He said that “I know every staff in the Palace” (I think he was emphasising “equality”), “Do as in your home (feel free to visit)”…

请注意，也就是在这里，我们又一次见到了总统和他的夫人，而且相当近距离，只隔了一张桌子。总统大概说，“我认识所有的工作人员…”（大概他是在强调“平等”），“请大家当自己家一样（参观）…”

We continued the visit, the next was the most magnificent, elegant, and golden banquet hall, each table has different features and they are furnished by various tableware.

见完总统我们接着参观，是富丽堂皇的宴会厅，各桌有不同特色的餐具等等，优雅大气。

Finally, we walked out the main entrance of the Elysee Palace. There, we saw some cars of the president. There were a military jeep for military parade used on the national day this year, two SUV as the daily cars (Peugeot 5008 and DS 7 crossback).

最后我们从爱丽舍宫正门走出，参观的是总统坐骑，有今年阅兵使用的军用吉普车，有两辆总统平时用车，标致5008和DS 7 crossback两辆SUV。

It was a little tired after one-day visit.But because it is opened to public only two days every year, it is quite worthwhile. The greatest feeling is not about the palace, but about the people. We have to know that the reason of greatness of this palace lies not only on the president alone but also thanks to all the staff. In my view, they are proud of themselves and their country. They know the meaning of their work, and they are also called as gentlemen / ladies,the same as the president and his wife, cheering for them!

一天的参观还是很累的，不过因为一年限一天的缘故，也是蛮值得的了。大抵世界上所有国家的首脑官邸都有一定的历史和延续，不乏华丽，也不乏故事。最大的感受不是关于宫殿，而是关于人，这个宫殿的伟大不止因为总统一个人，而因为所有背后的工作人员，他们骄傲优雅大方，他们懂得自己工作的意义，他们和总统、总统夫人一样被人们尊称为先生／女士，为他们喝彩！
