I don't like self driving cars

Read a news piece about self-driving cars will be programmed to make the choice on what to hit when an accident is unavoidable. Well that is interesting idea. I am sure the intend is to minimize loss of life.

看到有关自动驾驶汽车的消息,新程序将在事故不可避免时做出选择碰撞目标.这是有趣的想法.尽量减少生命损失.

I happen to have the experience of being in a "slow" car crash. On coming traffic made a sudden turn and skid in the snow. I actually had time to see that I have no where to go, cars on both side. Cursed and slammed on the brakes and went straight at the culprit. Just missed but got hit head on by a different car that lost control trying to avoid the culprit. Nobody was seriously wounded. Culprit drove off without stopping after the crash. Clearly I am in the right.

我曾经有一场"缓慢"的车祸.对面车子突然转弯打滑.我有时间看到我没有退路，在我右左边有车.诅咒声中狠狠地踩刹车，直奔罪魁祸首.避过了，但遭到了一辆不同的汽车试图躲避中失控撞上我的车.没有人受重伤.罪魁祸首没有停下来继续开走了.很明显我是无辜的.

Now here comes the questions. Could self driving choose a better outcome. What if to the right is sidewalk and to avoid a crash car choose to go on sidewalk and hit pedestrians? What if there is a child there among the pedestrians? What if the choice is to hit a car in the wrong or a wall? What if there is someone innocent behind the wall? I would want to make that decision myself. What do you think.

现在问题来了.自驾车可以选择一个更好的结果吗?如果右边是行人道，并避免碰撞车选择走在行人道上，撞上人呢？如果在这行人之间有一个小孩呢？如果选择是撞上犯错误的车或者撞墙呢？如果墙背后有无辜的人呢？我想自己做出这个决定.你怎么看？

PS : Bus driver and pedestrians witness told the police the culprit's plate number and where the car went. Fresh tire tracks and foot print led police right to the guys door.
