Valentine’s day water painting 情人節水彩畫

Chinese New Year is just 2 days away, I am staying at home today adding some final decorative touches here and there to give my home a bit of a festive vibe. Indeed, the highlight of today is more than just the home decoration; my boy has done one water-painting as a Valentine’s day gift.

He was in charge of the painting session. I was told to sit down in a chair and look at him. Then he did a portrait of me holding a bunch of heart-shaped flowers. I did not interfere at all in what he was painting. He came up with the whole idea of how I should appear in the painting (But that does not look like the real me ☺). This painting is priceless and nothing else is important than this from his heart.

I did this in return for him and gave him one ultra big hug as a gesture of thank you.

He is getting more arty, isn't he? I am so blessed that he has taken his own artistic skills to a whole new level. Hats off to his teachers!
