Oh yes, it's that special time of the year again, the one and only Valentine’s Day!! So you are probably thinking of flowers, chocolate and kisses… and you'd be pretty much spot on. There's a whole world out there celebrating the 14th of February with their beloved other half. I guess it is supposed to be the most romantic day of the whole year so why not just go with the "loving vibe" and enjoy yourself, right?

My hubby asked me what should we do this year. I was not sure about the whole "going out" thing as the weather here has been really cold and windy of late. Not the best time to be outside. Also, add in the fact that there would be so many crowded eateries on this particular day.

Therefore, it was decided to stay in and spend a cozy night in at home instead. Though we did end up splashing out on a posh 3-course meal from Marks & Spencers, lol. So for £20 all in, you choose a starter, main, side dessert and a bottle of wine or fizz, plus a box of heart shaped chocolates. A great deal indeed, filled with shimmer and luxury, hehe!

There is a wide selection of delicious food on offer to choose from. However my caveat is to not wait until the last minute to buy as a few items might be out of stock faster than usual. This deal proved very popular after all!

A selection of sparking bubbly includes whites, rose and red wines, as well as alcoholic alternatives too. As I chose the steak as main, it's was best to go with red wine I thought. I opted for a bottle of Shiraz as it’s my personal favourite. I really like this bold and powerful wine with a hearty and dense flavour to it. A great start to this Valentine’s Day meal!

For starters, we had the smoke salmon with prawn & avocado towers. We were quite impressed with how pretty this dish looked. An nice indulgent and sophisticated starter for any dinner party too. Really refreshing and yummy. My hubby mstly agreed, saying “This is almost like eating in a fancy restaurant!”. He was not wrong there, lol!

For the main, we went for the juicy Rib-eye steaks. I put the raw steak on the grill and cooked for 3 minutes each side until it was perfectly done! The meat itself was a 21-day matured cut so very tender and rich in its "beefy" flavour. Also went perfectly well with the peppercorn sauce!

The side dish we chose for was Potato Rosti cakes, which is made with shredded potato and lightly fried onions. The cake was prepared beforehand so you only need to put them in the oven and cooked for about 20 minutes until soft, sweet and golden. The end result was deliciously fluffy and well browned all over. So simple but a truly outstanding dish!

The little pack of 4 heart shaped chocolates looked "oh-so-gorgeous", with a golden red shine on each of them and "My God", that salted caramel center! Just heavenly if only you knew how much I love this ideal chocolatey combination!

And last but not the least was the Raspberry & Prosecco Spheres. The mousse was nicely tucked into the white chocolate cup on the bottom, finished off with a raspberry glaze and decorated with silver sparkles. When you started digging in, delicious raspberry jam poured out from the middle… Absolutely delicious and packed with surprises! If you take a look at the picture below, I don’t think I need say anymore, haha!

In my opinion, the M&S meal was such a great bargain for just £20 for the two of us. Valentine’s Day can work out to be very expensive for those in a relationship but it's good to know that it doesn't have to be. The M&S Valentine’s Day meal deal is popular for good reason. It "feels" really luxurious and special, therefore I highly recommend whether you are treating your partner or trying to impress somebody, this is the quintessential "all-in-one" solution you'll ever need.

一年一度的情人节又到了，大家第一时间想到的可能是鲜花和巧克力吧，呵呵。全球有情人都会在二月十四日这一天与心爱的人一起庆祝，这应该是全年里最浪漫的一天吧！

我先生问我今年想怎么庆祝啊？由于伦敦天气最近阴阴冷冷，风也大，我并不太想外出。也考虑到情人节到处的餐馆肯定都是人山人海的，我们一致决定还是留在温暖的家里。我们在玛莎店买了”豪华“的三道菜套餐。你可以选择一道前菜，主菜，甜点和一瓶葡萄酒或香槟，再加上一盒心形的巧克力，总共才20英镑，很划算吧，呵呵！

可选择的菜式蛮多的，不过我建议大家不要等到最后一刻才采购哦，因为有不少品种到最后可能会缺货。玛莎店这个情人节优惠套餐非常受欢迎！

饮料方面也有一系列的选择，包括白葡萄酒，桃红酒和红酒，当然也有非酒精饮品。我选了牛排作主食，所以红酒就最适合不过了。我个人蛮喜欢Shiraz浓郁的口感和那种Spicy的味道。

前菜我们选的是烟熏三文鱼配虾和牛油果。这道菜看起来非常精致也很美味，连我先生都说：“这几乎就像在一家高档餐厅吃饭！”。这话一点儿不假，呵呵。

主菜是牛排，我把生牛排放在烤架上，正反两面各三分钟就好了。牛排是21天干式熟成的，肉质达到最佳的嫩度，所以口感非常好，不但鲜嫩多汁并且很有牛肉味！配上新鲜的胡椒酱汁就更完美了。

配菜是马铃薯丝糕，它是用马铃薯切丝和轻微油炸的洋葱混合而成。这道菜其实是半成品，我只需要把它放进烤箱里烤大概20分钟就大功告成了。烤好的马铃薯丝糕，蓬松美味。我特别喜欢吃它稍微焦脆的表皮!

四个心形巧克力表面撒满了金粉，显得十分豪华。一口咬下去，中间还有咸焦糖夹心，让你口口都是甜蜜幸福的味道！

最后的甜点是让我最期待的红梅香槟慕斯球。它的卖相尤为吸引，粉红与白相间并用银色闪光装饰，非常精致漂亮。吃到中间，还有红梅果酱流出，真是充满惊喜啊！大家看看以下诱人的图片，相信我也不必多说了吧，哈哈！

对于恋爱中的人来说庆祝情人节可能会很贵哦，但这也不是必然的。我个人就觉得玛莎情人节套餐20英镑十分划算，让我们不用外出也度过了一个浪漫的情人节！我很推荐哦。
