给树保暖有用吗？

今天看到公园里面的树被穿上了厚厚的“草衣”，据说是保暖防冻。

但实际有用吗？ 网上也查了，有人说没用，有人说有点用。

细想一下：
1，长期看，在周围空气温度很低的情况下，由于树干本身不产生热量，其温度会逐步降低至空气温度，导致无法保暖防冻；
2，如果是短期降温，加上一层草衣，可以延迟树干温度降低速率，有利于保温防冻。

不知能否这么理解。
