牡蛎卡 Oyster Card
强烈推荐来伦敦旅游的朋友人手一张牡蛎卡。你可以使用牡蛎卡搭乘包括公交车、地铁、轻轨、电车、交通船等，而且会比单独购票便宜并且方便得多。此卡在地铁站、游客中心、有牡蛎卡标识的便利店都能买到。购买时需缴纳5英镑押金，充值后即可使用。退卡时押金和余额都可以退回。牡蛎卡充值十分方便，在伦敦，几乎每个车站都有牡蛎卡充值机器。
It is highly recommended to everyone who travels in London to have a Oyster Card. You can use an Oyster card to travel on bus, tube, DLR, tram, river bus and so on in London. It is very convenient to use and you may save a lot of money compared with buying single ticket. It can be bought at most tube stations, tourist center, as well as convenient stores with Oyster card logo. When you get a new Oyster card, you'll need to pay a ￡5 deposit. If you decide you don't need it anymore, return your Oyster card and the deposit as well as the remaining balance will be refunded. You may top-up the card credit at almost every tube stations in London.

我是个不爱睡懒觉的姑娘，喜欢在城市还没有苏醒的时候蹦跶出门，开始一天的旅程。伦敦的大多景点都要9:30 或10:00才开门，这使得我在伦敦夏季5点就天亮的清晨，有更多的时间在城市漫步。
I am early bird and I truly enjoy walking on the streets while the city hasn’t waked up for a busy day. It is my way to start my discovery. As most attractions in London do not open until 9:30 or 10:00, I have a lot of time to wonder around the city, especially in summer when the sun rises as early as 5:00 in London.

从地铁Westminster站出来，抬头立见伦敦标志性建筑，大本钟。
Coming out from Westminster Tube station, London symbol Big Ben catches my eye.

在国会大厦附近晃荡了一会儿，见距威斯敏斯特教堂开门的时间差不多了，便奔赴教堂，启用London Pass。
After spending some time around the House of Parliament, Westminster Abbey is about to open. It is my first destination with London Pass.

As one of the most important Gothic buildings in the country, it has been the setting for every Coronation and for numerous other royal occasions, including sixteen royal weddings. Many famous people are buried or commemorated here, such as Isaac Newton, Charles Dickens and Charles Darwin, etc. It is not allowed to take picture inside the abbey.

从教堂出来，回到地铁Westminster 站边上的Westminster Pier码头, 搭乘City Cruise。可使用London Pass兑换当日船票通票，一天内任意搭乘。
Coming out from the abbey, my next stop is Westminster Pier, which is close to the Westminster Tube station. By using London Pass, you can exchange a one day unlimited river travel ticket.

Thames河河畔的主要景点都有与之相对应的码头，如伦敦眼的London Eye Pier，如我即将前往的伦敦塔Tower Pier等等。借游船的航线游览这些景点，也是一个不错的体验。
Most attractions along Thames have their own piers. Such as London Eye Pier and Tower Pier which is in connection with Tower of London that I am heading for. It is another special experience to visit those attractions by taking the cruise.

伦敦塔，官方的名称是“女王陛下的宫殿与城堡，伦敦塔”，是市区内最值得参观的古堡.。除了城堡本身，在这里还能看到如今英国女王在重要场合会佩戴的皇冠。使用London Pass, 还可以享受fast track，减少排队时间。
Tower of London is the most worth visiting fortress in downtown London. Besides the fortress, you may have a chance to observe the queen of England’s crowns here. By using London Pass, you can enjoy the fast track and save a lot of time in queue.

为了一睹女王的皇冠，排队排了近30分钟，终于进入小小的Jewelry Tower，亲眼目睹了亮闪闪的代表着至高无上皇室的女王皇冠，只可惜馆内依旧严禁照相。
In order to have a closer look at the queen’s crown, I have spent almost 30 minutes in line to access the tiny Jewelry Tower. And finally observe the shining crown, which represent the supreme royal family status of the queen. It is still a pity that photo is prohibited in the tower.

从伦敦塔出来之后，沿Thames河散步至伦敦塔桥。沿途会经过观看伦敦塔桥最好的角度。运气好的话，可以看到塔桥打开让船只通过的景象。每天塔桥都有具体的打开让船只通行的时间，可以在伦敦塔桥入口的售票处或者伦敦塔桥的网站查询。
After visiting the Tower of London, I chose to have a walk along Thames and head to my next destination, Tower Bridge. There is a best view spot to have a full picture of Tower Bridge. If you are lucky, you can see the giant moveable roadways that lift up for passing ships. There is a timetable for the bridge lift time. You may check at the entry ticket office at Tower Bridge or online.

伦敦塔桥是泰晤士河上最有特色的一座桥，也是伦敦最著名的地标之一。塔桥高处有一条空中走道，可以从透明玻璃地面向下看，运气好的话，还可以看到塔桥在你的脚底下打开。
Tower Bridge is the most special bridge across Thames River and it is also one of the most famous landmarks of London. There is a high-level walkway on the bridge. You may have a view through a glass floor and if you're lucky, enjoy the magic of the bridge lifting below your feet.

为了充分利用London Pass参观想去的景点，于是在附近的地铁站搭乘地铁，直奔格林威治皇家天文台。
In order to fully utilize London Pass, I jumped on the tube at the nearby station, heading for Royal Observatory Greenwich.

伦敦的天气很善变，刚刚还是晴空万里，等到格林威治这会儿，已是乌云密布。从地铁站走到天文台还是有一定的距离的，需要穿过格林威治公园，爬上大大的坡，才能抵达。当然我是为了本初子午线而来。
The weather is really changeable in London. It was sunny just now and when I arrived at Greenwich, black clouds have already gathered overhead. There is a certain distance between the station and the observatory. I need to across the Greenwich Park and climb over a hill to reach the observatory. Of course, I am here for the prime meridian.

天文台所在的格林威治本身是一个小镇，感兴趣的话，还可以逛逛格林威治市场，市场虽然不大，却有着来自世界各地的美味小吃，淘淘特别的手工艺品。
Greenwich is a small town. If you are interested, you can have a walk at the local market. Though it is a small market by itself, there are delicious foods from around the world. And you may also find some special handicraft here.

为了想更好的体验Thames河游船，我决定从 Greenwich Pier码头, 搭乘City Cruise，使用之前London Pass兑换的船票，再次乘船。夕阳西下时刻的Thames河另有一番景色。
To have a deeper experience of the cruise over Thames, I made a decision to onboard city cruise again from Greenwich Pier by using the river travel ticket exchanged earlier today. The view of Thames is different as the sun goes down.

来英国怎么呢不吃吃英国的国菜，鱼和薯条呢？网上推荐的餐厅也很多，最终选择的是位于6-8 Hanbury St, London E1 6QR, UK的Poppies. 餐厅附近街区的涂鸦也很有特色。
You will not want to miss the typical food of England, the fish & chips. There are a lot of recommended restaurant on the Internet and I finally chose Poppies which locates at 6-8 Hanbury St, London E1 6QR, UK. There are lots of graffiti at the wall of the streets near the restaurant.
