吃货周末继续出动,Solea 美食篇 End this weekend with delicious food at Solea Restaurant

周末到了,我们这群吃货又出动了。今天中午去的是镇中心的一家西班牙餐厅- Solea Restaurant & Tapas Bar. 这个餐厅属于Solea 在麻省的三家连锁店之一。 和很多餐厅不同,他们提供的菜式分量精致,让你有足够的容量可以品尝多道菜。

Hooray! Weekend again! As foodies, we went to a Spanish restaurant in town center called Solea Restaurant & Tapas Bar for lunch today. This restaurant is one of the 3 restaurants by Solea Group in MA. Different from many other restaurants, their serving per plate is very small so you are able to taste different ones.

美国对酒的规定严,大部分餐厅一般只做晚餐。由于是中午时间,我们基本上是包场。这家餐厅分内外,外面是吧台,里面是正规就餐的地方。 整体装修风格比较欧式。

US has strict alcohol laws, most restaurants only serve dinner. As we went there at lunch time, there was very few people in there. When you walk into the restaurant, you will see the bar session first, then you can turn left to another room for regular eating area. Overall decoration of the restaurant is very European.

Let's get started with some drinks-

I ordered Classic Mojito- Vodka muddled Mint & Lime

这里的菜都是小份的,可以多品尝几份. 他们的菜色外观并不是非常诱人,可是味道很地道,所以还是值得推荐的。 下次我公婆过来我们可以带他们来品尝,他们一定会喜欢的。

All dishes are small plate. So we ordered quite a bit. Most of the dishes don't have very tempting presentation, but all are delicious. That's what it really counts. Next time when my parents in laws are in town, we will bring them here, they would love it.

我的最爱- 西班牙特色海鲜饭(Oceano),用虾,鱿鱼,干贝,扇贝和青口配上西班牙传统的藏红花米饭一起蒸煮,味道可口,用料实在,让我想起了国内的海鲜饭。 有点家的感觉。

My favorite dish- Spain's traditional saffron rice dish, cooked with shrimp, scallops, clam & mussels. It reminds me of the seafood rice dish in China.

三文鱼- 虽然外观不是很好看,味道还是很不错的。对爱吃海鲜的我是个好选择。

Salmon a la Plancha- seared salmon with Dijon cream & spinach

面包奶酪橄榄盘- Pao de Queijo- crusty Brazilian cheese bread

Ravioles De Mariscos- 海螯虾酱煮龙虾/蟹肉意大利饺,加了点辣味,但更突出鲜味。

煮青口- 汁用来沾面包非常美味。

Mejillones a la Salmorra- steamed mussels in a spicy tamato & wine sauce

蓝莓酱鸭腿 Pato Braseado- Roast Duck Leg with Berry sauce - 甜甜的,和国内的卤鸭腿的味道差不多。他们在处理方面还是做的很不错。很多鸭肉没有被处理干净会有股鸭味,这道菜却完全没有。很值得夸。

蒜泥铁板虾 Gambas Al Ajillo- sizzling garlic shrimp

猪肉狮子头 Lomito al Cabrales- pork lion with cabrales blue cheese sauce & mushrooms

周末在愉快的朋友聚会和美食中马上就要结束了。又将投入紧张的工作中。继续努力挣钱,争取享尽天下美食,这才不负我们吃货的称号。:)

Weekend is about to end, tomorrow will be another busy day at work. I have one big goal, ie, to make enough money to try all different types of delicious food in the world. :)

西方菜式跟中餐真是不一样,西式很精致呢!学习了, 谢谢分享!

谢谢,确实是很不一样。在国内的中餐很地道,这里的中餐很多都太油腻而且味道很重。可能没去对地方吧。所以很多时候还是吃西餐的多。只有过段时间嘴馋了才去中餐厅过过瘾。
