Foodie's diary #30--- London's creative spicy sichuan cuisine ---Jinli Restaurant. 吃货日记#30---伦敦的创意麻辣川菜—锦里。

Today's spot/今日亮点：

每次肚子饿到不行的时候，我最想吃的就是川菜了。

Every time when I am hungry, I want to eat sichuan food.

那香浓的麻辣味道，能满足我对于口味的一切需求。这家锦里餐厅开业一年多，真是吸引了一大帮伦敦吃货留学生，天天排队排出门口的节奏。

The spicy flavor can satisfy all my needs for the taste. The Jinli restaurant has been open for more than a year, attracting a lot of Chinese students from London.

一位Yoda站在门口，好吸引人目光呀。

锦里位于中国城，w hotel对面。锦里这个名字的灵感来源于成都著名的锦里古街, 听说是餐厅老板小时候就住在锦里古街边上的胡同里，所以餐厅取名锦里代表这里有着正宗的成都菜，也代表老板对家乡浓浓的思念。

Jinli is located in Chinatown, opposite the W hotel.
The inspiration name of Jinli is from chengdu's famous five-arched kam, heard that the boss of this restaurant live on the side of Jinli when he was a child, so the restaurant named Jinli represented here have authentic chengdu food, also on behalf of the owner for his hometown deep thoughts.

餐厅分四层楼，最上面两层是KTV包房，据说还有Hello Kitty主题包房。

The restaurant is divided into four floors, the top two floors are KTV rooms, and there are also the Hello Kitty themed rooms.

不过每一层的空间不大。特别喜欢的是这间餐厅的装饰，做成了仿造石块纹理，而堆砌起来的墙面，好像回到了故事里的那条街。墙上贴着色彩浓郁的川剧变脸，有着鲜明的四川特色。餐厅的logo也同样取材于川剧脸谱。这里知名的几大特色菜就有，常见的家常菜、烤鱼、香锅甚至到冒菜，真是应有尽有。

What I particularly like is the decoration of this restaurant, which is made of stone and texture, and the walls that are piled up seem to go back to the street in the story. The wall is plastered with rich sichuan opera faces, with distinctive sichuan features. The restaurant's logo is also based on the sichuan opera faces. There are a few famous specialties here, common home-cooked dishes, grilled fish, incense sticks and even vegetables

蒜蓉拍黄瓜，是我提议的，吃起来好清凉。

Garlic cucumber, it is my idea, it tastes good and cool.

香麻口水鸡，味道不一般，麻味很重，我喜欢。吃之前要拌一拌，特制的酱汁会更好的浸入鸡肉，鸡肉好入味。去骨的带皮鸡肉吃起来很软，底部埋着细细的笋丝，吃起来好爽口。

The jute chicken, the taste is not general, the taste is very heavy, that's what I like. Mix it before you eat it, and the special sauce will be better served with the chicken, and the chicken will taste good. The skin of the boneless skin is soft and the bottom is covered with thin bamboo shoots. It tastes good.

烤鱼是这家餐厅的明星菜品了，锅子很大很霸气，他家的烤鱼大多为一斤半左右的海鲈鱼，分量超足。锅里除了主角烤鱼，还加了花椒，藕片，土豆，蟹肉棒和豆腐，还可以继续往里加菜。但是我们拒绝了，毕竟菜已经堆起一座山了。那个香味扑鼻，烤鱼外酥里嫩，酥脆的鱼片让人有吃不够的欲望。

Grilled fish is the star dish of this restaurant, the pot is very big and domineering, the roast fish is one and a half pounds sea bass, the weight is very big. In addition to the leading grilled fish in the pot, it also adds sichuan peppercorns, lotus root slices, potatoes, crab sticks and tofu, and can continue adding vegetables. But we refused, after all, the food had been piled up. The smell is so good, the fish makes people have a desire to eat a lot.
