Customers to be able to trace their coffee’s provenance from bean to brew

Customers will be able to scan codes on the bags of coffee they purchase to discover their origins. Little information has been provided concerning the traceability solution other than the fact that it employs blockchain. Microsoft is one of the leading providers of blockchain-as-a-service platforms, though IBM's Food Trust platform is better known in the space.

Interesting article about how customers might be able to trace where their coffee is coming from through the blockchain. This seems to be a developing story, so there aren't a lot of facts out yet, but it sure would bring some credibility to the blockchain and thus crypto. I know VeChain has been working on tracing things from their origins, but it sounds like Microsoft and IBM are using their own tech here, too soon to say for sure. I'll be following this closely as this kind of info can be a great investment opportunity......
