MAIN INGREDIENTS
4 eggs
400 g of condensed milk
400 g of milk (preferably whole)
1 tablespoon of vanilla
1 splash of rum
1/2 cup of sugar
RECIPE PREPARATION
To prepare Venezuelan Quesillo recipe:
• Use a mold (which may contain approximately 1 1/2 l) of metal with a lid. In that mold prepare the candy. The caramel is made with twice as much water as sugar, the mixture is allowed to reduce over low heat or until it browns.
• You have to be patient, it is important that the caramel is browned, but that it does not burn. When it turns golden, remove it from the heat and move the mold so that the candy is distributed on the sides and bottom of it.
• Apart mix the rest of the ingredients well. It can be in a blender.
• Pour into the mold where the candy is, cover and take a bain-marie for 30 minutes counted from when it breaks the boil.
• Take to the refrigerator until it has cooled completely.
• Unmold and serve.
