The Royal Barber's just undertaking was to give ruler Krishnadeva Raya his every day shave. One day when he touched base to carry out his activity, ruler krishnadeva Raya was still snoozing. The hairdresser gave him a shave even as he dozed. On awakening, the ruler was glad at the hair stylist's expertise of shaving a dozing man. The lord was satisfied and advised his preferred hair stylist to request anything. To this, the stylist said , " Your Majesty, I might want to serve you as a clergyman in the Royal court." The lord consented to the hairdresser's desire.
As the news of the hairdresser spread around, alternate clergymen wound up stressed. They believed that an uneducated man at the clergyman's post may abuse the forces he held. They went to Tenali with the issue. Tenali guaranteed them of his assistance.

Following day when the ruler passed by the stream, he was astonished to see Tenali scouring hard showering a dark canine. At the point when the ruler asked what he was doing, Tenali answered, "Your Majesty I am attempting to change over a dark pooch into a white one by scouring it hard similarly as a hair stylist took the post of the clergyman."
On hearing this, the lord acknowledged what Tenali was indicating at. That day, in the court, he delegated hair stylist over into his position.
