Somewhere in the past here at Steemit I have expressed a growing interest in learning some coding language.
After talking to some developers around here, I decided to learn the Python language, which I understand is a useful language for automating tasks in general, and relatively easy to learn the basics (and also perform interactions with blockchain Steem).
So while looking for ways to learn this new language, I came across an interesting application for Android:
The learning methodology that SoloLearn presents is similar to Duolingo for learning new languages: Small quick lessons, in a logical sequence, so that you learn a little each day, and gradually fixate concepts.
I probably will not become a professional coder just using this app, but the methodology is very good for beginners like me.
The app also brings several different programming languages to learn.
In addition to gamefication factors and interaction with other students, an interesting feature is the challenges, where a problem is presented, such as creating a chess program, and the participants send their code to a dispute which is the best one.
Here is a tip for you that also wants to start learning to program.
