The education industry is huge not only in terms of money but in terms of students being educated yearly, with leading institutions contributing to the development of millions of students. However, teachers all over the world face difficulties in keeping students motivated to learn.
Not only is there a need to develop technical or soft skills with practical use in the business world but there is also the need to learn on the go, all the time, not only during one isolated training course. That’s why a new industry emerged: e-learning which sounded good on paper but the execution wasn’t all that good as it lacked efficiency .Also , training sessions being uploaded on a digital platform are not the answer to the learners’ need for engagement, interaction and instant reward. Unfortunately, there is only one way to put it straight: e-learning does not work. And this is confirmed by both participants and companies, using e-learning instruments.
SOLUTION:
Code of Talent provides a solution where in they use blockchain to impart learning to their students by engaging them in 10 minutes daily learning sessions and direct interaction with the educator, within groups of maximum 40 participants.
The sessions will be short bursts of engaging learning experiences, structured together as modules. Any content provider will be able to use images, videos and other interactive elements, following a framework designed to stimulate, engage and empower the students. The educators will be able to use interactive tools to communicate in real-time with learners and vice-versa, transforming the learning process in a dynamic experience where everyone can contribute.
They will also incentivize educators and learners based on their merits, while providing achievement record tracking that could be used by potential employers. Its micro-learning framework enables personal interactions with learning facilitators and allows sponsors to boost their employer branding and support the talents.
USAGE OF TOKENS:
The Code of Talent micro-learning platform will provide a specific number of tokens, on a regular basis, with the purpose of incentivising the educators and students active in the digital learning ecosystem. The allocation is performed by the Code of Talent’s token incentive mechanism, based on parameters that take into consideration the quality of the courses, the engagement and student’s level of course completion.. Token incentives are based on Ethereum’s smart contract platform.
Roadmap:
A roadmap is given according to which the prototype will be launched by November 2018 and by Q1 2019 the first version of application will be out.
