Choose The Life You Want To Life. Don't Be Coerced

COERCION

In Epistemology, Empiricists are a group of philosophers that hold the view that the mind at birth is empty, without any knowledge and that it is what we see, hear, touch or sense directly that forms how we view things and constitute our information store. Even though the Empiricists are unable to explain why people still exhibit different levels of intelligence despite being put through the same experiences, I still believe they are correct to an extent.

You should have observed that most families in which there are many family members as doctors, academics, footballers, politicians, tycoons etc. most likely will have their descendants go that path?

One of the dominant ways accent develops is when children or even adults consciously or unconsciously decide to speak how most of the locals do. So a guy that grew up in Lagos, Akwa Ibom, the north, UK is easily noticed when he speaks.

These scenarios are possible because people consciously or unconsciously form their perspectives about life, make decisions and become what they see, hear, touch or sense directly. So, for instance, two doctor parents can talk most if not all of their kids into becoming doctors.

You must come out from this norm and make your choices not on the basis of how the other person wants you to. You must not be a politician, doctor, Medical Laboratory Scientist, Lawyer, an Academic, entrepreneur, an armed robbery or even a prostitute because your parents are any of those.
