Item Reje Gayo is a cooperative in Bener Meriah, Aceh, Sumatra, and 282 of its women members contribute to the special lots we buy as part of our Women Coffee Producers Program. These women own and manage farms of about 1.5 hectares, and they have used the premium they receive for this coffee to buy new farm tools—hoes, saws, shovels, and shears—for the co-op's entire membership. A brand-new lot from the women of Reje Gayo just landed in our warehouse this week; don't miss out on this fresh, sweet, and grapefruit-tart coffee with its earthy-chocolate bass notes and wonderful creamy mouthfeel.
Sukemsi, Tumini, Sukarni Ningsi, Sumarni, & Leni Priastuti at the Jamur Uluh farm. Contributors to our Organic Ipak Bensu coffee and part of our Sumatra Women Coffee Producers Program. Ketiara Coffee Co-op - Gayo. Now available at our U.S. warehouse with spring arrivals on the books
Permata, Bener Meriah.
