阿拉比卡咖啡（Coffea Arabica）= 小果咖啡，产量占据世界咖啡产量的 70% 以上。

阿拉比卡咖啡的咖啡因含量较低，比例约在0.9%到1.2%之间，脂肪和糖的含量相当丰富，因此气味柔和、不刺激，口感清新微甜，有时会带一些清爽怡人的酸味，受到绝大多数咖啡爱好者的喜爱。

只有 10%阿拉比卡咖啡的品质能归类在「精品咖啡（Specialty Coffee）」

中果咖啡（刚果种，Coffea Canephora），其最出名的品种被称为罗布斯塔咖啡（Robusta）。Robusta 和 Arabica 基本占据了世界全部的咖啡产量。

如果取2—3%的比例混合到其他咖啡里，那整杯咖啡都成了罗布味了。因此，罗布斯塔种咖啡豆是不可以作为单品咖啡豆饮用的。

一般情况，罗布斯塔咖啡被用于即溶咖啡（其萃取出的咖啡液大约是阿拉比卡种的两倍）、罐装咖啡、液体咖啡等工业生产咖啡上。
