Everyone enjoys a cup of coffee daily or any other time, the vitality and energy a cup of morning coffee gives is next to none. You probably might have also heard or read about the health benefits from coffee like the reduced risk of diabetes, cancers, to Alzheimer's, dementia and even depression.

Coffee is really beneficial to health and learning about how that great cup of coffee came about can make you appreciate it even more.

Basically, the journey to a cup of coffee is a lengthy and complicated one that revolves round the coffee bean. The bean undergoes a lot of processes during which its refined into the flavourful coffee variety we enjoy.

The story of the coffee bean begins just like that of the bold animal king, starts with the been conceded, in this case the growing. An unprocessed coffee bean is planted at a specific time of the year.

Most do give up on the fight, but the brave little coffee plant continues to fight on till it outgrows the thorns and becomes a fine tiny coffee tree.

However, this only exposes it tiny body and beautiful bark, to the humidors bullies of the wind. Yet another point where its survival is continually threatened for months until it matures into a full grown.
Then comes the process of fertilization and the once tiny coffee plant becomes ready to give out it’s an coffee beans.

It would pollinate, and several fruit bunches would spring forth from all parts of it.
After a while, the bean would now ripen and be considered ready to be harvested.

During the harvesting, the fruits are plugged off and stored for processing, during which the bad seeds are removed and the rest moved out for roasting.

The bean seeds are first dried in the sun for some days. They are then roasted at specific temperate, and are thereafter considered ready to be brewed or grinded.

This is where you come in to get the fully processed coffee bean and then you can brew it however you want it with care, and take a sip in appreciation of the long and strenuous journey of the coffee bean.
