This region in the southwest of Minas Gerais, Brazil, is also an agricultural area where coffee cultivation predominates.
Generally there are staggered harvests, where there is an abundant harvest one year and a short harvest the next.
This region is known for having huge coffee plantation farms that employ dozens of pickers and move the region's economy.
