정부의 가상화폐 규제를 반대하는 청와대 국민 청원 추천자가 16일 20만명을 넘어서면서 답변 기준 20만명을 충족했다. 이 청원은 하루만에 청원 추천자가 1만명 이상이 늘었다.
지난해 12월 28일 등록된 '<가상화폐 규제반대> 정부는 국민들에게 단 한번이라도 행복한 꿈을 꾸게 해본적 있습니까?' 제목으로 올라온 이 청원은 오는 27일 마감될 예정이었지만 일찌감치 답변 기준을 넘어섰다.
청원 신청일 30일 안에 추천자 20만명을 넘어서면 청와대의 수석, 각 부처의 장관 등 책임있는 관계자가 한달 이내 답변한다는 기준이 있다.
이 청원은 지난 11일 박상기 법무부 장관의 '가상화폐 거래 금지 및 거래소 폐지 검토' 발언 이후 추천자가 급격히 늘어났다. 지난 12일 청원 추천자는 8만명대, 지난 13일 오전 10만명을 넘어서 당일 오후에만 15만명대에 이르렀다. 지난 14일 오전에는 청원 추천자 16만명을 넘어섰으며 하루만인 지난 15일 3만명이 더 늘어 19만명대가 됐다.
청원자 측에서는 "거래실명제도, 세금부과, 당연히 이루어져야 하는 제도다. 저는 반대하지 않는다"면서 "하지만 선진국에서 이미 가상화폐에 투자를 하고 더 발전해나아가는 현 상황에서 대한민국만 타당하지 않은 규제로 인해 경제가 쇠퇴하지않길 바란다"고 밝혔다.

The number of applicants for the Presidential petition against the government's virtual currency regulations surpassed 200,000 on July 16, satisfying the criteria of answer of 200,000. The petition saw an increase of more than 10,000 people in one day.
The petition, which was filed for the December 28 last year, was registered as No Virtual Monetary Control (BIC) and was posted to the theme ' Has the government ever been so happy for the public? ' The petition will be filed on the 27th.
If the number of recommendations exceeds 200,000 within 30 days of filing of the petition, it will be answered within a month by the responsible officials, including senior secretaries of Cheong Wa Dae and ministers of ministries.
The petition saw a sharp increase in the number of nominees after Justice Minister Bahk Sang-kee said on Tuesday, " Stop Virtual Money Transactions and Stop Exchange. " The number of applicants for the petition reached 80,000 on July 12, and more than 100,000 on July 13, and reached the 150,000 on the afternoon of that day alone. The number of applicants surpassed 160,000 by the morning of July 14, and the number of applicants increased by 30,000 on July 15, making it more than 190,000.
`` The transaction real-name system, paying taxes, and of course it should be done, '' the petitioners said. I don`t oppose it, however, saying, I do not want the economy to see only Korea suffer from unreasonable regulations in the current time when advanced countries are already investing and developing virtual currencies.
