So it seems like not a great week for Coinbase, with the Wikileaks drama hitting earlier this week, it would appear the Money Laundering Cyptsy case which is holding Coinbase liable for negligence is moving forward to public trial. I personally don't like some of the things Coinbase has done in the past, we had the BCH pump and possible insider trading event happen last year, now there was a lawsuit filed on that but I never heard about it again so possibly settled out of court but overall I think they have done a shitty job with their power and influence in the market. They completely opened up their books for the tax man in America, vs looking into other international options so it looks very clearly like another sudo government run company in the US. I hope that those who were affected in the Cryptsy exchange collapse in some way are made whole out of this court case as surely Coinbase will be found guilty, no real denying the allegations.
