in coinbase •  7 years ago

There have been some hype in the XRP community in regards to the possibility of being added to the popular US exchange, Coinbase. The rumor started as Ripple CEO, Brad Garlinghouse, is to appear on CNBC's Fast Money, along with Asiff Hirji, who is the COO of Coinbase.

Investors expected the announcement to be made on the show on March 6, 2018.

The price of XRP has risen since the rumor started. However, Coinbase was quick to shot down the rumors.

This may hurt the prices, but many are still hopeful that XRP will be eventually added to the exchange.

Coinbase has tightened the protocols of its operations since the December controversies, which revolved around the addition of Bitcoin Cash.
