  1. Verkhoyansk, Russia
    It is considered as one of the coldest place of the world to live in on earth. This place has low residency ratio and according to a census conducted in 2011, there were hardly 2,893 residents in this place. This place was founded as a fort in 1638 and it served as a regional hub in cattle breeding and tin and gold mining. This place is located at 1,500 miles south of North Pole and 404 miles away from Yakutsk which is also another coldest place of the world. According to different types of research studies, the average temperature is – 50.4 degrees F. It means that monthly temperature of this place stays below the freezing level from October through April. It is said about this place that residents of this place recorded the lowest temperature of – 90 degrees F.

    This is also another coldest place of the world. It is situated in Russia. This place witnessed a lowest temperature of – 90 degrees F on 6th February, 1993. This place also has low residency ratio due to extreme weather conditions. This place has a well developed tourist department which has promoted the town as a perfect destination for adventure travelers who are hungry for a taste

    This place is also included in the list of coldest places of the world to live on earth. Like other coldest places of the world, the occupancy ration is also low in this part of the world. This place sits on the border between U.S and Canada and according to a census conducted in 2011, only 9,389 people live in International Falls. The temperature of this place remains below the freezing level for more than 2 months a year. This area gets lot of snow (about 65.5 inches).

    This place is also considered as the coldest place of the world to live in. This place is well-known to fans of the board game Risk as that funny country between Siberia and Kamchatka. There are different research studies that have shown this fact that world’s coldest temperature outside of Antarctica was recorded not far from Yakutsk in the basin f the Yana River. During winter season, the average temperature of this place remains below the freezing level and it starts to drop to freezing level in September and it does not come back till May. During January, the average high temperature in – 34 degrees F. This place witnessed record low temperature of – 81.4 degrees F. This place has numerous theaters, museums and even a zoo.

5.Hell, Norway
Hell is also considered as another coldest place of the world. This place is located in Norway and it has gained notoriety for the combination of its name and sub-arctic temperatures. The average temperature of this place remains below the freezing level at about – 20 degrees F. Tourists are now moving to this place as this place has many things to attract. This place has coldest temperature from December to March of every year.
