Ever wandered why certain people actualize their full potentiality in any given talent or skill while others never live to fulfill their talent or skills. Is it a question of laziness, lack of resources, indecisiveness, ignorance, exposure or is it a question of survival of the fittest.
One just cant help it but be puzzled as to the imbalances of nature vis a vis nurture. If one is born with a high IQ but are however not nurtured to realize their full potentiality in this regard will they blossom their high IQ? Some people might argue to say that one becomes the person they want to become through doing whatever it takes. Be that as it may, I strongly argue that there should be a correlation between nature and nurture for one to achieve their intended goals or desires. It is however unfortunate that the balance between nature and nurture tends to favor a few on the expense of the many. Lets think of the majority of the populace who form the base of the pyramid in any given society. They either lack exposure, ignorance due to lack of knowledge, their suffer from indecisiveness or they are just victims of circumstances due to the powers that be. In these scenarios which actually detects their day in and day out survival there is no correlation between nature and nurture, hence the controversy in question.
I need not overemphasize the fact that lack of resources may eventually thwart peoples efforts in trying to nurture their talents or skills.
