Whether it's wire clothes pegs or weapons for self defense, we will need - as the oligarchs ratchet up division and slavitude - to need dig deep and become more resourceful, make things, invent stuff, adapt and modify. Did you know that peasants, free people, defending their lives against the state turned their scythes, pitchforks, and their ploughshares into weapons of self defense? Every time we the people assert our right to the commons they push us further into slavery and enfeeblement.

We in the privileged world have a responsibility to understand the evil that is done in our names and for our dollars. We need to understand that we are in the face of collapse with little resilience. We will become the zombies we we joke about unless we find the resilience we need to survive free in the face of plutocracy reasserting it's grip on our souls. Collapse will be the further descent into slavery as the entirely false narratives we live with now are passed over into the collapse.

To keep myself sane while I daily pull at the threads in the fabric of lies (which I encourage everyone to do) I write songs and jingles, make aftershave, fix furniture, trade in scrap metal and collectibles, and recover bicycle saddles. I live now as if the destruction has already taken place, as if there is only learning to new things and make new needed things while we make the world into it's own true image of rubble and ruins where once stood the temple of a falsified civilization.
